Gucci Celebrates New Zumi Bag in Chicago
It was a stylish and exclusive event at Gucci's flagship Michigan Avenue store on Thursday night. Celebrities rolled into the Chicago store as the stately and historically hip brand rolled out their newest handbag design, the Gucci Zumi. Inspired by the experimental Los Angeles-based artist Zumi Rosow, the refined and modern top handle bag is the answer to every ensemble accessory for rockers and ladies alike.
Rosow, who performed a DJ set and mingled with star-studded partygoers, was the headliner of the evening while acclaimed poet Alaska Lynch recited ethereal originals dedicated to the celebrated artist and designer. As punky music penetrated the two-story space, young starlets like Unbelievable's Kaitlyn Dever, Stranger Things' Sadie Sink and Euphoria's Maude Apatow shopped for matching Zumi mini bags and coolly perused Gucci's display of luscious, leathery goods.
